  Detachable towbar fitted to car for use with bike carrier. Initial enquiry was responded to fast (a couple of hours) with detailed questions to check the best towbar options for me. Callum provided quick responses when I sent photos and information, and followed up with a quote for different options the same day. Date and time for fitting agreed with little delay (less than 2 weeks) and Callum and Dan arrived exactly as they promised. They fitted the towbar at the house (no need to take the car or leave it at another location) and were finished within a couple of hours. They made sure I understood how to operate it, (to detach, lock and remount it) and made sure we had instructions and keys. Great service, great prices and very easy to deal with, including providing follow up advice after fitting when I had a daft laddie query! Would not hesitate to use again and recommend.   Calum and his mate from Highland Trailers did an excellent job of fitting to our car a towbar with removeable towhead. They came to our house and had things all sorted in a couple of hours. Prior to their visit, Calum was most helpful in explaining things, laying out the possibilities and costs, responding quickly to e-mails and any questions I had. On the day they arrived at the agreed time and were very professional, efficient and car-careful in their car prep and fitting work. They knew exactly what they were doing, as one worked on the electrics and the other on the car bodywork and chassis. Once the towbar was fitted, Calum gave me an extremely clear and very helpful walk through of fitting & removing the towbar head and plugging in the 13 pin hook up. They also have a plug in portable case of caravan/trailer brake/indicator lights. Using this, as I was sitting in the driver's seat, Calum talked me through the car visual display and what to expect when the caravan 13 pin hook up is connected. They were friendly and approachable and willing to explain things, e-mailing copy of the worksheet and invoice the following morning. What is more, Highland Trailer's price was some £300 less than that quoted by our local VW dealership. Highly recommended.
