  This small company is amazing. Such friendly and helpful people who communicate in a brilliant manner. My wood burner complete with chimney was installed within two days with very little mess and upheaval. The engineers were young and charming. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Actually looking forward to winter when I can try it out!!

  Bought some Frenchic paint in here today to refinish some of my old antique furniture in the bedroom to lighten the place up. Nice people, lovely to deal with. The paint is excellent too - one tin has done a wardrobe, tall boy drawers and a dressing table with two coats. Thanks

  We had excellent service across the board from the team at Shire stoves. The quote followed promptly after the initial survey for what appeared to be a straightforward job. However, once I had removed the old Rayburn we found the remnants of previous fireplaces and a brick arch which we decided to expose. The Shire Stoves team came up with a solution that overcame the problems and Mick did a really great job of rebuilding the fireplace, including sourcing and fitting brick slips at very short notice. This was all completed and the stove installed 2 days ahead of schedule! They are a team of lovely people who used their experience and knowledge and went out of their way to respond to our evolving needs. We are delighted with our new Chilli Penguin stove and fireplace and highly recommend them.
