  I called in enquiring about getting new tyres fitted to my bike (already have the tyres), Got a very dull response from the person who picked up who quickly became quite condescending when I said I was just asking around to see who could get the work done quickest. Not a great attitude to customer service at all. I understand if people are not having a great day, but if you’re not very nice to your customers, they won’t be your customers.

  Very poor customer service I called Bike Shed Waterlooville to ask about a motorcycle tyre and gave the lady the size I needed. She asked what brand I wanted, and I said I was simply looking for the cheapest suitable tyre. Her response was, “Really? You want the cheapest crap tyre?” I said yes, and before I could say anything else she told me, “You clearly don’t value your life that much then, sweetheart.” If a tyre is genuinely so poor that fitting it means a customer “doesn’t value their life”, then surely it shouldn’t be a tyre you’re willing to sell in the first place. I have no problem being advised that a more expensive tyre would be a better choice, but there is a massive difference between giving professional advice and insulting a customer. I hung up after that comment. Needless to say, I won’t be using Bike Shed Waterlooville in future.

  I would highly recommend The Bike Shed, very friendly family business. I needed a new tyre fitting on a loose wheel ( I had already taken it off). They made space in their schedule and fitted it straight away! Genuinely appreciated! 👍
