  Warning. They lost a First Tier Tribunal by not knowing what they were doing or talking about. They cost our freehold company over £4,000 in the process taking fees for themselves and paying someone to check their incorrect statements. Now they’ve allocated service charge wrongly again so resigned rather than sort it out. So they’ve made my wife Company Secretary without her knowledge or consent and used my home address as the registered address without my knowledge or consent. Seriously! Do not even consider this Company

  Came on here to warn everyone about these people. They lost our company £4,300 losing a first tier tribunal because they don’t understand the lease. Yet they said they didn’t want to be uneconomic and took £1,800 of it themselves to attend the tribunal to get criticised by the Judge and lose. I was awarded costs but they won’t even respond to letters about that! The tribunal decision stated not to allocate expenditure to different owners or different blocks and they had no discretion to do that but they are still doing charging me for other people’s expenses. Think of any negative word that might apply to incompetent management agents and it applies to them. Obviously only my personal opinion! Then I saw a review that uses the words integrity and transparency and thought wow, but in true HMS fashion it’s dishonest because it’s their own member of staff who did our fire risk assessment. So even he’s not honest trying to boost their low score himself! Maybe several of the good reviews aren’t true. Don’t give yourself the grief…… NB. Now they’ve resigned rather than lose another tribunal and made me Company Secretary and put my private address in 5 places online without my knowledge or consent. Seriously be careful of these guys

  New Estate housing in Wiltshire left in the dark during winters during at least 2 years, with pavements and roads unfinished, some responsibility goes to the Developers but HMS is barely maintaining the Estate as it is and making actual profit on residents who keep paying their considerable charges for the past 4 years for an Estate containing many h&s hazards. Several complaints made from different residents which are ignored or answered with very evasive and vague details. Not taking accountability or responsibility for any of the issues, only communicating and chasing for their payment which they dare to add late fees payments on households that keep waiting for clear answers and timeframe. If you have the opportunity not to go with them I would strongly recommend to stay away.

  HMS took over from RMG as our servicing agents in September 2025, and the difference has been remarkable. Regular catch-ups with the Directors and clear, proactive communication have made everything feel organised and manageable. HMS has relieved us of what had become a living nightmare. Kelly played a key role in making the handover between management companies smooth and stress-free. Although we are still learning our new roles, we feel secure and have complete faith in HMS. I would wholeheartedly recommend their excellent services.
