  Staff are knowledgeable and friendly, went in as needed an SD card he suggested the best ones for my camera so I was extremely happy with my purchase. The shop is well stocked with many play station and X box games, most are a reasonable price there's a few that are a tad pricey though

  Very disappointing experience at CeX on the Isle of Wight. I felt that I was judged by my appearance rather than having my item properly assessed. I was wearing normal work clothes because I had come straight from work. The staff seemed uninterested in even properly looking at the item and quickly told me that they could not accept it, giving reasons that did not seem convincing to me. What makes the situation particularly frustrating is that exactly the same item was later accepted when another person brought it in. That person was very smartly, cleanly and neatly dressed. This has left me with the strong impression that customers may be treated differently depending on how they look or how they are dressed. I obviously cannot prove what was going through the staff member's mind, but the difference in treatment was difficult to ignore. I would expect CeX to assess the condition and value of the item objectively, not make assumptions about the customer based on their appearance. Very poor customer service and a very disappointing experience. I will think twice before using this CeX store again.

  Went into the CEX store in Newport this week to sell two cameras. Staff were very helpful and efficient and I was happy with the price they offered me. I will definitely use them again if I have anything else to sell.

  Awful service from start to finish, Order was forgotten about and only processed when chased, Only to get told my electronics were worth less than first quoted. Then payment took ages to process after I wanted to just get it processed. Will never use again and will never recommend.
