  I am disappointed to be writing this today as we have had several really lovely experiences here before but today, unfortunately I felt very let down. On arrival there was no note of our booking but we were hastily shown to a table so all was well. We were however informed that the oven had broken and that we could only have toasties, sandwiches or salad (fries were available too). Unfortunately I have an onion intolerance and noted that all the bread used for these contained onion. When asking if I could just have a salad with the goujons from the toastie I was told that was not possible. When I requested again if I could do this I was firmly told that the goujons could only be served in the toastie - end of. Unfortunately the salads also contained items that my stomach is unable to tolerate which I am used to but I felt the total lack of flexibility was disappointing, especially as they had no oven and we were left with limited choices. Regrettably I feel that I won't return.

  We had a prawn sandwich and a coronation chicken sandwich. Both were great 👍
