  Uneducated on tech, these people working here will try to say that the 2 heat marks from nintendo switch dock hdmi and power cables on the inside of the removal back panel are "smoke stains" despite a pristine white dock, clean console and joycons and underpay you by £16. Avoid and sell to cash converters instead. Don't buy anything here either.

  If I could put negative stars I would!! Very disappointing experience at CEX Havant. We had to take our dad’s Switch in because it was broken and needed replacing. We were told my dad’s data had been saved, but when we got the device back it appeared to have been deleted, which caused a lot of stress and frustration. They then replaced the Switch, but the replacement had a chipped screen, which was completely unacceptable. The shop itself had an unpleasant smell, and the overall atmosphere was not welcoming. One red-haired staff member in particular who promised are data was safe came across as rude and unhelpful, which only made the situation worse. Absolutely terrible customer service from CEX email. I contacted them for help with this issue, and they have literally refused to assist in any useful way. Every response felt dismissive and unhelpful, with no real effort to resolve the problem. It’s shocking that a company can treat customers like this and expect people to come back. The whole company feels like a joke when basic customer service is nonexistent. I would not recommend dealing with them if you expect support when something goes wrong Based on our experience, I would be very cautious about shopping here, especially if you care about your personal data and customer service

  Took a ps4 slim down to the shop today to sell. Waited almost an hour for it to be checked and all the usual. Then got told they wouldn't buy it because it was "factory reset and all the software was deleted so it was non-functional". thought that sounded stupid when she said it, so I went home plugged it in and turned it on. It not only was in fact not factory reset in the slightest since all the game saves and everything I had before where still there, but everything worked fine. Staff clearly has less IQ than a games journalist and can't turn on a ps4 slim or just didn't even try. Wouldn't ever recommend trying to sell anything there at all.
