  A busy reliable pub, with a reputation for food. Efficient staff keep it all running smoothly. Not the greatest selection of real ales in the town but more than adequate for most. Well worth a visit for food, especially the renowned fish and chips.

  A lovely, authentic harbour pub with a relaxed atmosphere and genuinely friendly service. It's not trying to be fancy, and that's part of its charm. The seafood was very good and the whole place had a warm, welcoming feel. We did have one small issue with one of the dishes, but the staff dealt with it immediately and without any fuss. Little things happen, and the way they're handled matters. Overall, we had a fantastic evening. Great food, good vibes and exactly the sort of place you'd hope to find in a harbour town.
