⭐ 1 Star – Extremely Disappointed
Very, very disappointed with the service provided by Andover Car Service.
1. Turbo replacement (Range Rover Discovery Sport)
I took my vehicle in for a turbo issue. They replaced the turbo, which cost me £2,607.60, and kept my car for two weeks. After all that time and money, the problem was still not fixed. If they were unable to properly diagnose or repair the issue, they should have said so from the start. Instead, I was left without a car for two weeks and had to hire a rental vehicle at additional expense.
2. AdBlue issue
I also had an AdBlue problem which they kept the car for another two days and then told me they couldn’t fix it. This was after I had already spent nearly £3,000 with them. I eventually took the vehicle to a Range Rover specialist garage, who had to redo work that Andover Car Service had carried out.
3. Wheel bearing repair (latest visit)
Today, I booked my Discovery in for a wheel bearing replacement. I was told it would cost under £400. At around 5pm, I called to check progress and was told they couldn’t complete the job and needed to order additional parts (hub and bolts). I told them to stop work as I would collect the car. Despite no repair being completed, I was charged £108.
After being a customer for two years, this is extremely disappointing treatment.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise Range Rover, BMW, and Audi owners to think carefully before using this garage. I feel I have paid significant amounts of money without receiving the expected standard of service.
