  All the drivers are always very punctual and courteous. The service is run very professionally thru the call centre and app. Ive been using them for six years and im very happy with Alpha Cars.

  I have been using this company for years and have never found any issues. For off-peak taxis, the taxis have always come instantly for me and without issue. Drivers are nice, etc. Recently, I’ve been needing to use taxis for work occasionally. I work a 9-5 at a firm and it’s crucial I’m there on time, if not a bit earlier. Two times I’ve had it where a taxi was half an hour late and even last week made me 40 minutes late. One of those times the driver apologised for being half an hour late but there was no reduction in fee or anything. I decided to give the company the benefit of the doubt as I hadn’t pre-booked those previous taxis, so I called up to pre-book. Multiple times I called because I was concerned about it; at pick-up time there’s still no driver assigned and I called up for the person on the receiving side telling me the taxis are available but they’re “busy”? I understand it’s a peak time, but I pre-booked. I said to him that I have to get to work on time, I cannot keep being late to work as I risk losing my job. He said he understood and he’d get one over asap to me. 5 minutes past booking time I had to start walking. At 8:37 I received the call from the driver to tell me she’s outside, I told her I had to start walking as I cannot be late to work. She then rudely said I should have cancelled and hung up whilst I was talking. I want to reiterate that I booked that taxi for 8:20 not 8:37: I do not need to cancel a taxi that hasn’t arrived on time. Honestly I thought it was ridiculous when I should have received an apology. I understand we all get frustrated but the whole point of me pre-booking was to receive a taxi on time. It should have been communicated to me those two times I called up that it would be delayed or that they simply could not promise a taxi would be available for then. I thought the experience was terrible and as of recent not acceptable.

  I had an awesome driver. There was a crazy driver pushing through traffic at speed. My driver had excellent reflex and very observent on the traffic. The car was lovely and clean and smelt fresh. Very good driver. 👍💯

  We were staying in the area at the weekend and used Alpha Cars on 2 journeys. Very professional company, friendly drivers and office staff. Comfortable, clean and very nice cars ie Tesla and Mercedes. I can thoroughly recommend this company. They were excellent.

  DO NOT USE!!!! We had booked two journeys to a wedding for 6 people. When our taxi turned up 7 minutes late it was only a 4 seater car at no point were we told there was no 6 seater cars available. We were charged for two cars when they couldn't fulfil our booking. On the way home it was even worse. I had to chase for our taxi two times being told that I will just have to wait standing out in the cold. 36 minutes late gone midnight they finally sent us a car again for four people instead of the six we had booked. Absolutely terrible customer service on the phone. Only time they listen to you is when you say you'll just get an Uber. Next time use an Uber, that is much better and a lot more reliable
