  After an experience with another seamstress who said she couldn't help me because my dress was "fiddly" and was at risk of ripping if handled by an inexperienced seamstress, I suddenly felt anxious about finding a competent seamstress. I ended up contacting Annette after seeing her recommended locally. I instantly felt assured when I arrived. She was not only friendly, but I could tell she was confident about the work ahead of her. As a petite bride (5'1) the dress needed shortening, and the straps were also tightened. I've pictured a before and after. Thanks Annette!

  I had an appointment with Annette to get my wedding dress altered but while I was there I explained to her my vision for my dream dress and she managed to fully alter the neckline to turn it into a reality! My dress fitted me perfectly and she managed to take lace from other parts of my dress to do the re-design so you would never know it had been altered. Annette was lovely throughout the whole process and was flexible with appointment times. Thank you for creating my perfect dress!

  Wow, I am so pleased I found Annette to alter my wedding dresses (one for the evening reception as well). She turned two second hand dresses from a charity to shop that didn’t quite fit me properly into two gorgeous dresses that looked like they’d been designed specifically for my body. I visited her three times to get them perfect. She is an expert at what she does and I completely trusted her throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend her!

  Annette is truly a real-life fairy godmother! I had an absolute disaster with my wedding dress, just 3 weeks before the big day and was in a complete panic. My dress was far too big and after one round of awful alterations by another seamstress I was feeling hopeless. I found Annette online and read some great reviews, so decided to take one last shot at fixing my dress. Annette is a real problem solver and came to me with solutions instead of workarounds. She turned my nightmare around and I'm so grateful for her calm reassurance throughout. She worked right up to the wire. I honestly think she uses a magic wand instead of a sewing machine - I have no idea how she did it! Jokes aside, she is so incredibly talented and the quality of the work she did was wonderful. Thank you so much, Annette!

  Annette did an amazing job altering my wedding dress! I would recommend her to anyone! I had had alterations done elsewhere before, which made the dress look ok but the fit wasn't particularly comfortable. Annette managed to make the dress both look stunning and fit comfortably.
