  I would highly recommend George McAlpine & Sons. Steven McAlpine arranged for the motor on our electric fire to be repaired, and the service we received was excellent from start to finish. Communication was clear and prompt, and everything was handled very professionally. It is refreshing to deal with someone who is reliable, helpful and genuinely went above and beyond to ensure the fire was repaired. Thanks again to Steven and the team at George McAlpine for an excellent service

  As a business owner I am always focused on the customer journey and overall customer satisfaction. George McAlpine has this down to a tee! Today I came home to the most amazing fireplace that will not only add value to my home but add value to every night I spend in my living room. This is the second fireplace that I have had installed by George McAlpine. If I move again there will definitely be a third! Top marks for absolutely everything! Twice! Thank You

  I would give 10 stars if I could. I love our new woodburning stove, it is the perfect size for the room, incredibly efficient, lights first time every time, and looks gorgeous. The team were incredibly professional, starting with Stephen who provided superb, professional advice, gave an honest an accurate quotation from the outset and made sure we got the best value for money. He communicated well throughout and even made a personal visit to our house to check on progress. The fitting team were efficient, friendly, clean and professional. The whole experience has been a pleasure from the moment I set foot in the shop. Highly recommend these guys. I wish other trades learnt from you!

  We live in a first floor flat and most companies we went to told us it wouldn’t be possible to have a fireplace. One company said they would do it but once they encountered a challenge told us it wasn’t possible. George McAlpine were confident they could do the job from the start and got it done despite a blocked chimney. The guys they worked with to get it cleared where very professional and easy to deal with. It’s a messy job but they managed that really well and left the flat clean and tidy. Yes, there was an extra charge but considering getting a fireplace installed isn’t exactly cheap this didn’t make a huge difference. Overall we were really pleased with the excellent customer service throughout and focus on getting the job done. Would highly recommend.
