The first Apple Store in Scotland is housed in a Category A listed building designed by the renowned 19th-century Scottish architect David Hamilton. Originally serving as the clubhouse for The Western Club, the building's exterior features an Italian Palazzo style, highlighted by Corinthian columns and a carved stone balcony at the entrance. Apple invested in a comprehensive renovation, preserving the classical facade while transforming the interior into a modern retail space.

Very poor customer service, very poor service, didn’t keep to published time scales, aggressive in communication before we’d even started. Frankly the place is a classic example of the tail wagging the dog. I suspect apple think they’re too big to fail. Good luck with that.

Severe data loss due to staff error during trade-in migration. I visited this store for a phone trade-in and migration. Unfortunately, the staff member factory reset my old device before ensuring the data transfer to my new phone was complete or properly backed up. As a result, years of irreplaceable personal data and photos were permanently deleted. While I understand trade-in terms mention data responsibility, I expected the trained staff guiding the migration to verify the transfer was successful before wiping the old device. Very disappointed with the lack of care shown during the process. If you are doing a trade-in here, make 100% sure your data is safe yourself before letting staff touch your device.

Unfortunately, this was my second visit to the Apple Store, and I experienced the same poor level of service again. The staff were talking among themselves instead of focusing on customers. The employee assisting me left while my device was updating, and the update finished while I was left waiting for a long time before she came back. I expected her to stay with me until my service was completed, especially since I had booked an appointment in advance. I’m very disappointed with the customer service and the lack of professionalism. I expected much better service from an Apple Store.
