  Went in to buy game, could tell worker was in bad mood what'd I do nothing :P games rated 16 didn't even know you could get id for those I am 17 worker ask for id im like oh I don't have one it's only a 16 she says i look under 25 so I need id 🤯not buying alcohol am I it's not even an 18 i say ive got a photo of my passport just blatant no im 17 I haven't got any form of id not gonna take my passport out with me everywhere not my fault she was having a bad day, enjoy the place some of the staff I don’t

  Was told an amount by a manager came back and someone else dropped the price by £50 then left it to be checked and it miraculously had a crack on the corner. Which wasn’t there when I left it and it had had a case on the whole time. Will never be using again the staff are not truthful and clearly making slot of money scamming people!

  Attended this store yesterday with an Xbox which since being bought at the same store, was taken out of the box, placed on a shelf, and hasn't moved. Tried to trade it in yesterday and they refused it because of a 'crack' on the home button. The stood there and pointed to a non existing crack, but upon closer inspection is just how the light shines around the edge of the button. So either way there's a problem here. They sold me the console as Mint when it wasn't or they are trying to gas light the hell out of me. Went to cash converters, took them 10 minutes to accept it and got more than CEX offered anyway. If you dont wanna take in a certain type of console, dont gas light people about it. Your training someone at the minute. Is that how to gaslight people? So, now I know they claim it's faulty I want a full refund on my purchase which you obviously sold to me faulty. Or faults that only you can see. I know times are hard, but try to avoid this place, go to cash converters, go to Ramsdens, God stand outside your local coop and try and flog it cause I bet the mental gymnastics they make you go through in CEX is not worth it. 1 out of 5 stars, sells faulty goods, or gaslight people.

  Took a ps4 and a laptop. Sadly laptop had a hairline crack but was able to trade my unused Ps4 and the games for decent money without selling on ebay. Lady who served me with fingerless gloves was very helpful. Explained everything and friendly. Seems like a good bunch of staff. Thanks

  Worst thing ever I showed them a picture of my passport I’m 16 buying ufc 2 and they wouldn’t accept me because they said they’d get fined £20million and then proceeded to kick me out the shop for arguing a point that I have ID and are allowed the game
