  Booked an appointment days in advance for battery service, and still had to wait 30mins to see someone. Once finally seen to, told I had to leave phone with them and pickup the next day. Pickup next day - again waited 30 mins for them to 'have someone available' to hand me the phone back. Should have been a 2 minute interaction, over an hour waiting in store, over an hour wasted in travel to the store twice - don't bother getting battery serviced here.

  Very disappointing experience at this Apple Store. There doesn’t seem to be any proper check-in or queue management system. Customers are left standing around in the corridor, waiting for someone to become available, with no ticket number or indication of where they are in the queue. Everyone is gathered around the tables, unsure who’s next, and staff don’t provide clear directions or regular updates. We were visiting with our young baby, which made the situation even more frustrating. We had no idea how long the wait would be or when we would be seen. If we’d known in advance that the experience would be so disorganised, we wouldn’t have come. Apple is known for great customer service, but this experience fell well below expectations. A simple check-in system and better communication would make a huge difference. Unfortunately, based on this visit, I wouldn’t recommend this store.

  I came to get my battery replaced and was told there was a 2.5 hour wait, which was fine, but that they'd be able to do the replacement so I waited and came back when I had the text. I went through the the checks stuff at the Genius Bar and followed all their steps and the employee told me to wait and he'd be back. He returned 10 minutes later saying they'd not be able to do the battery replacement today despite saying twice before that they could and that they had a battery in stock. I'll now have to travel another 45 minutes again to get it done another day as I've been made to wait 3 hours on the premise that it would get done, only to be told they can't do it with no further explanation. I'd have prefer to have just been told they couldn't do it today and then I'd have done the shopping I needed to, and not wasted my day waiting in the metro centre.

  Genuine query which was met with confrontation and rudeness from one of the most unhelpful members of staff I've ever encountered. Totally at odds with the help received a couple of years ago but this time was shocking. How to put you off a brand!
