  Update: The roofing work itself appears good as you can see from the photo. The job was for a new slate roof, ridges and two flat roofs. Derrick's service was excellent before and during the work, a big reason I chose the company. My rating is mainly about the aftercare. Slate waste from their removal were left in the garden, and I had to pay someone else to remove them, though they have disputed it was their waste. I also had a few other areas of snag disputes such as a the front gutter and some minor damage though unfortunately I experienced no real willingness to engage or resolve it. My calls and messages were not responded to for months. Only after posting my review did the company become responsive. They have agreed to resend the warranty/insurance documents. The experience leaves me apprehensive about future contact with them. It could be an isolated incident but this is my experience of their service - hence 2 * review.

  Happy with the work carried out. Facia is now straight and level fixing the problem of an overflowing gutter.

  I employed thistle roofing to replace the complete roof. The job was done promptly and efficiently over a period of 4 days. The communication throughout I cannot fault. I found the cost of the project very reasonable. After the job the site was left tidy and the workmen involved were friendly and only to helpful. This was the second time we have used the company having had the flat roof done last year. I would not hesitate in recommending them.

  Decent, honest, hard working team. Brilliant price - fairest quote for the work and the team on the job. Of people that cane to give quotes thistle roofing were the only team that climbed up and assessed rhe roof properly. The team worked through storms and aftercare was excellent too, left the place immaculate. We had tight finances but Derek and Josh made it work. Forever grateful to thistle roofing.
