  Rude to me and mainly run by kids. Brought some dvds in and I hear a guy make a mocking comment behind the till "dvds just what we need.." I don't know what his attitude problem. Some ginger dude with a cap. Then he tells me he wants to scan my card and then proceeds to tell me he's gonna bulk discount ALL of my items due to one of them being an item I just so happened to trade in before. Despite them taking full profit on my stuff. I took my stuff back and left and refused the offer of being scammed by a company who continously reduces what they give to the public for their media in general. I'll sell it all either way but it won't be with this store. Would not recommend.

  I took loads of bits in last weekend and the people were nice but unfortunately i trusted them. I am now 4 days out and still waiting for the e voucher they told me would be instant. No way to contact them, the contact form on the website got me an email back 2 days later and have heard nothing since. Now going to have to go back into town and by the time ive paid for petrol and parking again it wont of even been worth it. The lady by the counter was friendly but i got the distinct feeling she was new as she asked my details and email about 4 times. Very dissapointing.

  Staff here were excellent, I was returning a defective item under their amazing 5 year warranty, and it was sorted quickly and professionally, I am a regular customer of CEX, the Colchester branch is one of the best I have visited. Many thanks
