As a lot of people have said, we have previously loved the plough. But this time it definitely lacked in quality and staff. Firstly called up and was greeted with "alright" I had to ask if this is the plough. Food was not the normal quality of food. nacho chips looked identical to lidls ones. Garlic and Parmesan chips where lacking in the garlic and Parmesan. My son order a £8 milkshake and it was nesquik with a bit of whipped cream ontop, not what you expect from a expensive milkshake.

We were in two minds about visiting The Plough on Friday because of some negative feedback we’d seen, but we decided to give it a chance—and I am so glad we did! The food, the service, and the overall experience were amazingly brilliant. Everything was spot on. Don't hesitate to visit!

I’ve been here 4–5 times, maybe even 6–7 by now, and every single visit makes me admire this place even more. The food is always incredibly fresh, full of flavour, and absolutely delicious. The service is flawless and everything about the experience feels top quality.
The staff are extremely professional, attentive, and welcoming. On top of that, the prices are surprisingly reasonable considering the generous portion sizes and overall quality.
My son is especially obsessed with the Tennessee sauce chicken wings from the starters — he talks about them nonstop! Highly recommended.
We had a birthday there with kids - food was lovely and drinks good. Healthy quantities and a great atmosphere.
We have been numerous times but the last 3 visits there has been a decline in the food quality, half the roasts had ran out and why and restaurant like this cant make its own yorkshire puddings and provide cheap frozen ones that are disgusting is beyond me. Its not the cheapest place but before this was never an issue, but now the menu is smaller and unfortunately the food is not as good.
