Over the last 30 years, Colin has undertaken numerous projects for me, on items ranging from historically important books to family heirlooms of purely sentimental value, and I cannot recommend his services highly enough. The workmanship and skill has always been second to none, and whatever the commission, the quality of Colin’s work and attention to detail is amazing. In addition, I have always found the pricing to be very reasonable. As an example, I had been given parts of a treasured childhood book that had belonged to my grandfather, who died very young in WWII. Colin managed to completely reconstruct the book, taking the missing parts from a donor book, and preserving every part of the original. An incredible job by an incredible craftsman.

We were delighted with Colin’s worrk restoring and rebinding an album which is between 150 to nearly 200 years old. He explained clearly what was necessary and gave us a guide to the cost which in the event he kept significantly below the worst case scenario. Throughout the repair he kept us in touch with progress. The album is now a much admired and highly valued object in our museum and we feel sure will be available for possibly another 150 years. We have already recommend Binding Arrangement to another organisation.

I am so glad I found Colin to restore two books that are very special to me. On meeting him I was instantly comfortable to leave my precious books with him and I was happy with his price. He finished before the date stated and he did a first class job!! Brilliant.
