  A really positive first appointment with Laura. Her knowledge was immediately clear, and I was particularly impressed by how she assessed and tested my shoulder, identified what appeared to be causing the problem, and then explained a clear way forward. The whole approach felt very considered and specific to me rather than generic. I actually felt some progress during the appointment itself, which was very encouraging. Very pleased I went to see her and looking forward to continuing the rehab.

  Booked in to see Laura today to help with a shoulder pain that wasn’t clearing up. After a thorough consultation and in-depth exploration of the issue I’ve come away with confidence in what I need to do. The best thing for me is that Laura “gets it” that I don’t want to stop training and wait for this to pass. Instead I’ve left with a clear route back to doing the things I love, with simple progressions and realistic expectations to follow. Thank you Laura!

  How you imagine a physio should be. Laura listens and really cares about your recovery and also performing at your best. Laura is incredibly organised so I always felt like I had a plan that I could follow and was actually achievable. 100% would recommend Laura's brilliant service.

  Laura has been my physio for about 6 years and has helped me with various issues mostly around my knee. However, last year I dislocated my shoulder whilst mountain biking coast to coast. Once I was back in Dorset, my first thought was to contact Laura as I wanted to make sure I recovered complete use of my shoulder thus ensuring I suffered no impact for the future, my general training or normal day to day activities. As has always been the case with Laura, she was very clear on expectations – for example the injury needed time to settle down before we did any work on it, that it would be at least a 6 month recovery and that day to day activities would be a part of the rehab therefore making sure it was not over worked. Laura provided a mixture of hands-on treatment alongside the identification and development of an ever-growing set of exercises for me to undertake at home or at the gym. As we know, the key to good rehabilitation is not only based on an honest dialogue of what has gone well and not so well between sessions, but also from the confidence provided to you by your physio. These discussions provided the basis for the next period of rehab. However, it is always incumbent on us though, as the patient, to diligently undertake the recommendations provided. My journey is reaching the end with 99.9% mobility recovered and I cannot recommend or thank Laura enough for helping, guiding and advising me throughout this period.
