  We found Discreet Scotland tours by accident and boy, are we glad we did. From the beginning, working with Matthew setting up our travel days was a breeze. We gave him suggestions and he suggested others and the final product was a great mix that satisfied all our curiosities of Scotland, We were 4 seniors, 2 with slight mobility issues and we did a private 4 day tour, riding in a comfortable Mercedes V-class. Jeff was our driver and he was even more accommodating because we kept altering plans. Jeff’s knowledge of Scotland and its back roads provided us with a wonderful taste of the beautiful scenery and various castles and small towns. We especially loved the small towns we visited. All in all, I highly recommend Discreet Scotland tours especially if you want the ability to be flexible and to see some of the out of the way, non-touristy spots. Thank you, Jeff and Matthew!

  Martine was the best guide we could have hoped for! She was funny, knowledgeable,professional and completely made our experience a memorable one. She took us to venues we would never have thought to explore and thoroughly enjoyed her and the private tour . Highly recommend Discrete Scotland tours and Martine!

  Matthew runs a first rate show. From the first time, I spoke with him, he was a pleasure to deal with and always very responsive. I had never been to Scotland and had only a general idea of what we wanted to do on a 7 day tour. Matthew took my broad idea of an itinerary and helped me figure out places to see and stay. Truly a customized experience. Once we arrived in Scotland, the experience only improved. Our assigned driver/guide was Damian and we could not have asked for better. Damian was extremely knowledgeable about all the areas we visited and always seemed to know the best places to stop. He was extremely flexible with our itinerary and accommodated pretty much any request we had. Even better, he came up with ideas that we might not have thought of and we enjoyed every one. Again, a customized experience. I cannot recommend Discreet Scotland highly enough.

  Boy did we get lucky in booking this tour. Our initial plan for the Highlands was a multi day bus tour that would have had us traveling with a larger bus full of people over four days with hotel stops each night. After reevaluating that, we decided that was not what we wanted. Instead, we shortened the duration and researched until we found Discreet. They offered the exact experience we wanted. Custom built by a trusted and experienced tour guide, who knew the area and listened to us to deliver exactly what we wanted. We found that in Mike Russell who really became a friend for the day. He listened to us and delivered what we needed… He also spent time telling us about himself so that we would have a better understanding of who he was. We drove up to Glencoe from Edinburgh, with stops along the way for great photos and an opportunity to walk around. But we were able to make changes as we went and saw some very cool stuff, including Doune Castle, which has been used in multiple TV shows and movies, including Game of Thrones, outlander and Monty Python‘s holy Grail. We would book this tour company again in a heartbeat, and would specifically request Mike, such a nice man.
