  We took a borders tour today through discreet tours. Our outstanding guide, James, arrived early and took us to Bowhill house, melrose abbey, abbotshire and Scott’s View. What a perfect day! James was a terrific storyteller and very knowledgeable on all we encountered. It was spending the day with an old friend. The car was impeccable, a Mercedes 300. The company and Matthew were communicative and easy to deal with. This really exceeded our expectations in every way. I highly recommend the company and especially James.

  The 4-day private tour hiking the Highlands and Isle of Skye with Discrete Scotland and guide Damian was magical. Some of the views were etherial and so breathtakingly beautiful - the wind, the silence, the vibrant blue of the sky as never experienced before, the verdant hills, endless bodies of water - it could bring one to tears. Damian - professional, punctual, knowledgable, gentlemanly - was patient as we customized our itineraries day-to-day, including visiting many non-tourist spots (who knew about the hobbit-like hidden used book shop on Skye?). The car was comfortable and spotless, the conversation easy and the experience memorable. 5 stars are not enough.

  Second time I have done a private tour with them! Nick was an awesome guide. He was extremely knowledgable, told stories in a way that captivates the listener, and gave us a comfortable journey to the highlands. Could not recommend more highly. This is the go to service for truly epic experiences.

  We had a fantastic time on the Three Lochs and Sterling tour! Nick was a funny and informative guide, and a great conversationalist. We enjoyed spending the day with him and he helped us enjoy parts of the beautiful Scottish landscape we would not have seen otherwise. We look forward to seeing the Highlands with Nick one day!

  We had a wonderful day with Nick from Discreet Scotland Tours on the Perthshire Forest and Castles tour. From booking to the tour itself, everything was professional, well organized, and seamless. We traveled with our 4 year old and 2 year old daughters, and Nick was fantastic with them. He was kind, engaging, and made them feel included throughout the day. They genuinely enjoyed spending time with him, which made the experience even more special for our family. Nick was knowledgeable, personable, and had a great sense of humor. He shared fascinating stories about Scotland’s history, castles, and landscapes in a way that was both informative and entertaining. He was easy to talk to, happy to answer questions, and clearly passionate about Scotland and the work he does. The vehicle was extremely comfortable, the scenery was breathtaking, and the stops were thoughtfully chosen. Thanks to Nick and the team at Discreet Scotland, this was one of the highlights of our trip. We would highly recommend Discreet Scotland to anyone looking for a memorable and family friendly way to explore Scotland.
