  Went in with an immaculate, as new, refurbished by APPLE, Apple iPad. Tried to undercut me by £200. Claimed it was a category B. When I challenged the website categories B as having damage, which it doesn’t and in no way says you cannot trade in an excellent condition iPad that has been refurbished the I assume manager who kept running about on the phone to an alarm company not putting customers first uttered nonsense to me. Clearly as I’d called out her con like behaviour. I was very wary about this shop/company and my suspicions have been confirmed. Since sold to music magpie for £350! Your loss, I won’t be back, take this one star review as a warning!

  This business is so shady, I'm surprised they're still open. I brought in my laptop for selling, they kept it for a few days "for testing", broke it, I came back for it, and they're refusing to take accountability for breaking it. Furthermore, they don't even have a way of making a formal complaint on the store, which I'd question the legality of that. STAY AWAY.

  I would not recommend going to this place at all. I traveled over an hour to get there to purchase a PlayStation game, as it was the only CEX relatively near me that had it. However when I was buying the game the girl at the counter clearly could tell the disc was badly scratched, she not only made sure to mention they provided a 5 year warranty but also tried cleaning it to “make it look better” and when I tried it later that day, my PlayStation couldn’t even read it. I understand mistakes can & do happen but this was something that should have been checked prior to anyone purchasing it. Additionally a close friend of mine recently traveled over an hour to the same CEX to purchase an Elgato capture card that they’re website marked as being in stock, only to get there, pay for it at the counter & then they tell him they don’t have it. They couldn’t refund him either so instead they sent out the capture card a week later without the necessary cable to make it work. Completely ridiculous.
