  Great service from L&J Autos. Travelled down from Aberdeen to buy a Suzuki S-Cross. The car was exactly as described, clean, with a fresh 12-month MOT and oil service. Genuine mileage and no hidden issues. Smooth transaction, honest people. Highly recommended!

  Went here for the first time today due to a friends recommendation and I’ve got to say I’m not impressed. I was quoted around £150 for the work and when dropping off my car I asked them and they agreed to call me if it cost anything more to make sure I could still go ahead as I only had so much money. They did not call me and 6 hours after they received my car, I got a phone call back after calling multiple times for an update to say it’l be ready soon, I asked if the price has changed and they said “yes it’s £207 he’s just doing it now” I did say hey that’s a massive difference from the quote I was given and you said you were going to call me to make sure it was okay to go ahead if it cost more than the original quote. If they had not started the work I would’ve asked for my car back as I could not afford this price. They had already started the work and did not plan to call me to tell me the price difference of nearly £60! I would’ve understood an extra possibly £20-£40 extra as I know parts cost a varied amount but £60 is a lot of money in this climate and to go ahead when I specifically asked to be called about any price changes is unacceptable. I have now had to borrow money last minute to pay for the work that they already started on my car without checking the price was okay with me first, despite me specifically asking them to. If I knew the end price would be this much I would’ve went elsewhere. You absolutely must inform a customer of any price changes especially when they specifically asked to be called prior to any work being done. I am very lucky I was able to borrow money from someone otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to pay. The work itself is great but the communication has been awful so please if you visit here make sure they communicate any extra costs prior to doing the work or you’ll have no choice but to find money from thin air to pay.

  Just purchased a VW Tiguan from these guys and the service I received was first class. They all went above and beyond to help me with my tax and even gave the car a full valet before I collected it. They made sure the car was faultless before I drove it away.   I have used L & J Autos for a few years now as do my family for services, mots and all aspects of repair. . The service is so friendly nothing is a bother they go above and beyond in getting your car sorted. . I have total confidence and would highly recommend them
