Unfortunately they didn't accept any of the game consoles I tried to exchange. My 3DS had a crack in the back (a minute crack that is only visible if you really look - and are we forgetting that this is a second hand store?), and apparently the audio on my Wii U game pad wasn't working. If the person testing had bothered to charge up the game pad they would have noticed that the audio works fine. I tested it myself when I got home (I worked for the Darlington branch many moons ago!) It worked beautifully considering it's been gathering dust for seven years and has been played perhaps five times. I don't think my consoles failed their test. I think what actually happened was the fact that the store had too much stock so were unable to take it in. I will be trying to sell these elsewhere (Game) another day.
