  Purchased a Kandao Qoocam 8K from the online store here. It was sent out the same day and arrived 2 days later, packaged very well and was exactly as described.

  Was trying to sell a laptop but was mess d around with by staff, they had no idea of when it was being tested and apparently it failed despite it being a new laptop, you just fail anything? Got my laptop checked by a laptop technician and he said there was nothing wrong with it. The girl on the counter said I should’ve got a call but I did not, which just shows how unprofessional they are. Wouldn’t recommend selling to CEX at all, time wasters, not deserving of a star

  My first ever bad review but it is necessary. CEX sold me a counterfeit game. When i tried to return it they emailed me to say "the item received is not the same as the one originally dispatched for this order. Unfortunately, in this case, we are unable to proceed further with the return." So theyre essentially calling me a liar and a fraudster. Im now £100 out of pocket, they havent sent me any games or anything back either. Really really disappointed, ive been going to CEX for about 11-12 years but im completely done with them after this. Update: Please can you add to your reply the following? 1. Where was this item dispatched from? (Ordered Online) 2. Which member of staff dispatched this order? 2. Where was this item tested when I returned it? To say that I'm returning a different product to pull some sort of scam is frankly libellous. I can prove this in a civil court if needed and I will happily take this further if necessary.

  Bought my son an IPhone 12 in September, came with warranty for £250. Went into the shop, because he has dropped it they void all warranty - advised dropping may have broke motherboard 😂. I advised all kids drop phones and was basically told ‘No they don’t lol’. I asked can it be checked as I didn’t think the drop was the issue it was the charging port and was told NO! Went around the corner to a shop and it needed a clean at £20. Moral of the story -don’t waste time with CEX and warranty, like everything else in this world it is void - also customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Clearly we are stupid and they are not - 😂 No Motherboards were harmed in the dropping of the iPhone

  If your a seller and you come to CEX be prepared to be effectively robbed. We all know what they are about, they look for anything and everything wrong with your devices that they can find to offer you next to nothing in terms of market value. If you have stuff that you want to get rid of easily and not have to haggle then this store is ok, otherwise though your normally better off selling privately.
