  At a recent difficult time, when my 97 year old mother passed away, we found Westcountry Funeral Service to professionally and sympathetically guide me and my family gently through the process of laying her to rest. From her timely collection from my house, where she had been living, through all the legal requirements, arrangements for a family cremation and a celebratory service at my mother's church, we were treated with the utmost empathy and compassion. Nothing was too much trouble and we were giving time to make our decisions, with helpful suggestions when required. We cannot recommend Westcountry Funeral Service highly enough. Sue Johns

  My dad recently passed, from the very beginning after an early morning call to take my dad these guys made our whole terrible experience much more at ease. From helping and caring, discussing many different things they made the challenge and trauma of him passing so much more bearable. The kind words and empathy they showed throughout was just perfect. I hope i never to experience this again tbh but should I ever need to Wescountry will be who i would call. Thankyou so much. 💓

  AE 4th Nov 2024 If you are considering a funeral directors then look no further. Words can not express what I feel and what this amazing team did for my family and my dearly missed mum. They take the stress and worry off you as they do all the arrangements and communicate every step of the way. Richard, Leah and Charlotte are so caring, kind, thoughtful and empathetic. I am just unable to thank them enough and give them all the praise they deserve. They make it personal for them as if it was their own family and go above and beyond with any requests or help you may need. Richard also took care of my dad 22 years ago and we received the same level of service and care. Thank you so much for caring and looking after my mum she had a such a wonderful goodbye all down to you. Kim xxx

  Excellent service from westcountry funeral service plymstock plymouth.very thorough caring and compassionate especially Richard the funeral director.from the first moment I met Richard could see how caring compassionate and supportive he was at helping the family to arrange the most amazing send off we could give our cousin my gratitude for what Richard and his team did will stay with me forever.would recommend westcountry funeral service for the amazing service they give in the most difficult times of bereavement
