  (Posting on behalf of partner) Gobsmacked doesn’t even come close to how shocked I am having picked up our car today. From the beginning, we popped our car in last week for an MOT, we wanted to book 4 wks in advance, but was told no was best to book a week before so they could carry out repairs on the day, so we did. It failed its MOT. Fine, these things happen, it took 2 guys to work out that I didn’t need my whole headlight unit changing they just needed to repair/replace the reflectors. So we then were told we had to rebook another appointment…the day the MOT was due! Took the car back in, we had to phone to find out if it was ready to collect, went and picked it up, the car was tucked away out the back so I couldn’t see it. Paid and they brought to car round only to find there ‘resolution’ to the reflector issue was to stick Duct Tape over it….told it was a ‘quick fix’ I mean what on Earth! How does this even qualify as a repair! Charged me for it and I’ve still got to go somewhere else to get the issue repaired! If I hadn’t seen it with my owns eyes and taken photos as the proof I wouldn’t have believed this! Just got to hope it doesn’t damage my paint work! Outrageous! This can not be legal to do this as a repair from a professional mechanic.
