  The service I received from Westcountry funeral director was exemplary. Richard Parson was kind and supportive at the hardest part of my life when my husband died. All arrangements were taken care of. My husband looked splendid, pain free, nicely dressed, and at rest whilst he lay in his coffin as family were able to pay last respects in the funeral parlour. The day of the actual funeral was taken care of with hearse and cars carrying my beloved to the crematorium where the Celebrant Caroline was contacted on my behalf to conduct the ceremony. They were both caring, compassionate and professional. When my time comes I’ve asked my family to book this company situated near my home in Saltash.

  I could not rate the services of Richard and his team more highly. Richard took the load off my sister and I and took care of the small details as well as the major planning. He understood exactly the type of funeral we wanted for our mother. Everything went smoothly and we appreciated Richard's unobtrusive presence at the funeral, which made us feel supported every step of the way.

  I had to deal with my dad’s funeral alone. Richard stepped in and took the whole weight of the funeral organisation off my shoulders at a time when I felt I was drowning in paperwork and formality. I really felt in safe hands, he called personally to remind me of deadlines or things I may have overlooked and when I had questions he was always at the end of the phone to ensure the funeral ran smoothly. It was a beautiful tribute to my dad. So, almost two years later when my mum passed I was glad Richard was there once more. This time, as he’d previously met me and my mum he completely understood my requests to really personalise her farewell. I’m so grateful the memories I have of both funerals were perfect and that is down to Richard’s professionalism, attention to detail, his friendly and supporting manner and his supporting team.

  From the very first meeting, Richard and Leah showed nothing but kindness, professionalism and genuine compassion. During one of the most difficult times of our lives, they treated my father with the utmost dignity and respect. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they guided us through every step with patience, empathy and reassurance. Their attention to detail and calm, caring approach made an incredibly painful time just that little bit easier to bear. The service they provided was flawless, and it was clear how much they genuinely cared about honouring my father's life. We will always be grateful for the respect, compassion and professionalism they showed to both Dad and our family. Thank you, Richard and Leah, for giving my father the farewell he truly deserved. I would recommend your services without hesitation to anyone looking for a funeral director who genuinely cares.
