  Taking on an employer through the legal process is a daunting process, after speaking with Citizens Advice they recommended several different Solicitors, I chose Gard & Co because of their longstanding reputation in Plymouth. I was reassured that my case was worth taking on, on a No Win, No fee basis, that in itself was a huge relief. Throughout the process I had good communication with my solicitor Kevin I was also kept up to date with each stage as it progressed. My employers eventually settled out of court, which served to prove my faith in Gard & Co was justified.Thanks to all involved.

  We decided it was time to get our wills done after putting it off for months. So we contacted Gard & Co as we had used them when buying our house . So we arranged a date for Bethany to come around(i am disabled so it was easier for me). So Bethany arrived and went through everything with us. She was so helpful and now we have signed the wills. It's a relief to know it has eventually been sorted.

  After carefully considering which Plymouth law firm to use for my conveyancing, I decided to go with Gard & Co, and I’m so glad I did. Michelle Pepper turned out to be the best solicitor I’ve ever dealt with. She was exceptionally good at her job and, perhaps most importantly during such a stressful process, had excellent communication skills. If you want a solicitor who is approachable, responsive and keeps you informed, I cannot recommend Michelle highly enough. Buying and selling a house is stressful enough without having a solicitor who is difficult to contact or leaves you wondering what is happening. Michelle was the complete opposite. She was constantly chasing other solicitors, estate agents and everyone involved in the chain when communication was lacking, and she never stopped pushing things forward. There were several points where the whole transaction came very close to collapsing, and without Michelle and the team’s determination, I genuinely don’t think we would have got over the line. They went the extra mile throughout and did everything they could to make what was an incredibly stressful process run as smoothly as possible. My estate agent, Luscombe Maye, were so impressed with Gard & Co that they have now started recommending them to their customers, which I think says a lot. Thank you so much to Michelle and the whole team at Gard & Co. I’m a very happy client, and after this experience I honestly wouldn’t use another law firm or solicitor.
