I was so panicked when I found damp in my house, but the service I received from Preserva CSS was amazing. From the staff who answered my calls, to the surveyor who carried out the inspection, and especially Richard, the specialist who carried out the work — everyone was fantastic. What an amazing company, thank you so much.

Wow, what a find! Preserva-CSS have been amazing right from the start of my contact with them, through to finishing the work, and provide excellent old fashioned customer service which is something I value highly. Don came and did the original survey for a damp issue under the bay window area of my sitting room (Victorian house). He was extremely pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable and promptly replied very helpfully to all my questions, setting my mind at rest. On the allotted date, Ash arrived at the agreed time and did the initial work of removing plaster from the wall and injecting a new damp proof course. He very helpfully made me aware of an additional problem with rotting joists in the bay window area that was only evident once the carpet had been removed and the floorboards exposed so couldn’t possibly have been picked up in the original survey. There was absolutely no pressure to have this additional problem investigated but I contacted Preserva for a further quote to rectify the rotting joists. In the meantime, Rich came to replaster the wall where the damp proof course had been injected and did an absolutely sterling job. The new plaster is as smooth as glass and has been admired by several friends!
Chris came to do the second survey and confirmed half of my sitting room floor joists and floorboards needed replacing as the joists had badly rotted in some places due to the damp and woodworm was present. Darren and Chris came to do this work which I was advised would take 2 days and would leave a large hole in my sitting room floor overnight as it would not be possible to have the new floorboards laid by the end of the first day. I was concerned about my cats being able to get through this hole, under the floor and then getting stuck, I had no need to worry though. Darren and Chris did a fantastic job, despite some unexpected issues with my Victorian joists being an unusual size. At the end of the first day, they laid temporary hardboard over the hole in the floor and constructed a veritable fortress above it to prevent my cats getting under the floor. What absolute stars!
Office staff gave me a courtesy phone call the day before the workmen were due to arrive on each occasion which I was very impressed with and everyone I’ve had contact with at Preserva has been extremely friendly, courteous and professional. At the end of each of the 5 days of work, the guys tidied up and took away all rubbish and debris. I was dreading having this work done and can honestly say, it has been an absolutely refreshing delight to have found Preserva and to have done business with them. I have already recommended them to several friends and wouldn’t go anywhere else should I need damp proofing services in the future. Thank you Preserva :-)

Very pleased with the finished damp proof course. The workmen are very professional. They cleared away all the rubbish and took it away. They were very curtious and friendly to deal with, and there was minimal disruption.I would highly recommend this company.5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Really polite & professional during the quote. The representative was very knowledgeable and not only identified root causes, but also showed where things we thought might be damp were actually not. The quote came through within a week and was very reasonable. We'll be getting in touch shortly to schedule the work.

Rare honesty couple with very decent work deserves a mention at least.
I’ve used Preserva for my kitchen and they have done a very good job, cleaned up well after they left and all.
But this review is for something far rarer and much more noteworthy. I found some small damp in another part of my house (just after painting it). Even though couldn’t be there in person the advice I got was that it’s a marginal issue not worth cutting the plaster down. They could have easily said it’s big need to pull down the whole wall that could have cohost me dearly considering the fresh repainting of the house. Thank you Glen and whole Preserva team.
