  V+H moved my elderly parents. The gentlemen who arrived on the day were friendly and professional. They took great care with all their belongings and made the stressful process of moving house less so! Abbey was also very helpful in arranging the move and ensuring everything went as hoped on the day. Thank you so much.

  Used these guys twice now and they go above and beyond every time…. After a last minute collection failure I rang and the sorted collected and delivered our item the very next day…. Now that’s what I call service… worth every penny Thank you so much Ben & Jo

  We used V&H for a house clearance. Abbie was so helpful in getting us a price & date booked in. The lads on the day were so professional & got the house cleared in not time & disposed of correctly. The price was so reasonable & will 100% recommend & use again! Thanks to all at V&H

  I’ll review before this sham of a company block me. People deserve to hear the truth. They left behind so much of my stuff, my ex had to spend an hour collecting what was left behind. Then all that extra time bringing it over to me. This company are trying to blame me, but I’m currently disabled, as they know, so I had already sent a screen shot before collection day of what needed to be collected from up steps I couldn’t manage. I asked if some items had been brought over, to which I was informed, ‘they forgot.’ My quilt and pillows were taken off the bed and left. A lot of the garden items were left. Some are heavy, and really needed more than one person, hence why I paid for two men. But still these items were missed. No idea how, as they were bang in the middle of the garden. An expensive cabinet has been ruined. The list goes on, you get the idea. I paid for the six hours it took, and gave a £40 tip. I’ve just requested ONE hour’s refund to cover the TWO hours my ex spent collecting and delivering the forgotten items. I don’t think that’s too much to ask given the farce of all the missing items and the damaged one. I did hope as a gesture of goodwill, this company would offer that anyway. Or at least some amount for the troubles they’ve caused me. I didn’t want to ask, but as they’ve not offered a penny, they left me with no choice. Apparently, as they’re collecting a unit they forgot, that IS the gesture of goodwill 🙄🙄🙄🤣🤣🤣 You really couldn’t make this up. I’m not going to argue with a company like this, when it’s obvious they have no intention of putting things right. So they can keep ‘their’ money. I own a very successful medium-sized company. If I made a mistake, or if I did my job wrong, I’d do anything to retain our excellent reputation and keep my customers happy. We put customers first, because without them, we would not have a company. That hasn’t actually happened yet as I’m good at what I do, but I wouldn’t think twice about bending over backwards to rectify an error. Shame this sham of a place don’t hold the same values. I will say that I originally praised them… That was BEFORE I realised how much had been missed, and what damage had been done. As I said, unfortunately, I’m disabled at the moment, so couldn’t watch everything. If I’d been able to, I would have. Apparently, it’s my fault for not noticing earlier. Moving day was two days ago, and I’ve still not seen everything moved over, with having this injury, and unpacking therefore being slow, so cannot be blamed for that. I shouldn’t be being blamed for anything to be honest. What sort of company does that anyway? The only reason I know so much was missed is because my ex went to the house to do something unrelated, and saw exactly what had been left behind. If he’d not seen that, it could have been weeks before I saw the extent. So yes, obviously that’s my fault 🙄 They will now share screen shots where I state I was happy… Like I said, at time of writing those messages, I WAS happy. But that was BEFORE i knew how much had been left behind, and the damage that was caused by them. I’ll be contacting my bank, they’ve left me no choice. Please be very wary. Let my mistake of choosing this company stop you from making the same. This is a raw, honest review, and I’m happy to share screen shots of full conversations to date also. UPDATE: The company has replied below. Full of falsities, as expected. I’d love to see photographic ’evidence’ of my ‘empty’ garden?? Is photographing someone property without consent even allowed? I’ll have to check on this now. If they’d gone to the trouble of photographing every room too, may be they’d have seen everything else left behind 🙄 The table they mentioned was not actually even the table they’re referring to. Seriously?! Can you see a theme here???!!! I’ve given more than enough time to these cowboys, I’m not wasting a moment more. Please be VERY wary. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

  Absolutely outstanding service received today from the team at V&H. The lads were all fantastic, arrived on time, very professional and took great care with all my items. Moved me out of my 3bed house into an our new home, and made the whole move stress free from start to finish. After the dates changing a couple of times due to contracts and estate agents, abbey was very understanding, helpful and put me at ease. Hopefully, we’ll not be moving again for a while, however, I would highly recommend v&h to anyone and everyone. Top service provided by a top company. Thanks again to Abbey and the team.
