  Lizzie is an asset to the Apple Store Cardiff! Met them multiple times for various purchases for the business and they’re always super knowledgeable, exceptionally friendly and always has a music recommendation! Look after them Apple! 🙌

  My iPhone 17 started experiencing issues. I booked an appointment at the Genius Bar for a diagnosis; and once the parts were ordered (took a day or two to arrive) - the phone was repaired quickly. Can't fault the friendly service

  Took in an Apple Watch that had stopped working, they could not boot the watch to run their diagnostics. despite the screen coming on and looping on its loading screen. They would not attempt to fix it or send it for repair instead quoting me excessive charges more than the watches value. The whole appointment took well over an hour and was a complete waste of time with no sense of urgency from them. They refused to repair or replace under consumer warranty for a well known and documented fault. Saying it was not purchased from the Cardiff store directly and sending me to place of purchase. Which is a breach in consumer law and by apples own standards. They have previously replaced devices in the past that were not brought in store but on this occasion they chose not to help most probably because they did not have a replacement watch of that specification in store and they did not wish to attempt to carry out any troubleshooting or manual diagnostic work other than to point blank refuse to do anything because they could not run a diagnostic test on my watch, to simply be dismissed and told “there’s nothing we can do.” Personally if you as a customer encounter same or similar experiences, then I would recommend calling Apple customer service directly and opt for mail in repair and avoid wasting your time dealing with the staff at Cardiff store, they are clearly very selective in who they help and when. They are also performing well below the standard of which you can expect of apple. going to them is a gamble as once the substandard staff at Cardiff have documented their reports on apples system, their word is taken as gospel without questioning their professional conduct. I accepted my losses on this occasion and opted for upgrade with apple care included. But I will not forget this bad experience at Apple Store Cardiff and I will avoid dealing with them for any future service or repairs.

  First time coming in was great, was helped out by Marlene while buying an Apple Watch, as DPD had lost one I'd bought a week previously online. I came in for a 2nd time 2 days afterwards to switch out the band as it was slightly too small. The worker was a bit confused by the Education discount, but got a manager (lauren?), who sorted it out and let it proceed, but I had to pop out for an hour. When I came back, the person I was assigned was HORRIBLE, white guy ~70-80kg, bowl cut black hair. He kept on antagonising me and nearly made me cry. He said his colleagues previously shouldn't have helped me the way they did, because of rules w.r.t the education discount, and told another worker, when they approached trying to help me because he'd gone for a bit, to "not deal with me". Awful. He ended up saying he wasn't going to serve me anymore and disappeared for around 10 minutes while I stood around. He ended up coming back with a manager: Lauren!, who explained the situation far more clearly and resolved everything, but that person I was assigned has soured my overall experience with this store so much that I don't think I'll be coming back or shopping here ever again.
