  ⭐ Disappointing visit – unfortunately not worth the money We visited the Cornish Maize Maze today and, unfortunately, came away really disappointed. For the price being charged, I expected considerably more and don’t feel it represented good value for money at all. The whole attraction felt quite run down and in need of some attention. There were only a few animals, and some of them appeared to us as though they could do with much better care and attention, which was upsetting to see. The café was also very run down, with only a handful of seats available inside. On an extremely hot day, this meant families were essentially forced to sit outside in the blistering heat. I was particularly surprised by the baby-changing facilities. The changing area was in the women’s toilets only and positioned directly by/in front of a window, which offered very little privacy and had the sun streaming straight through. It really didn’t feel like an appropriate or comfortable place to change a baby. The sunflowers were another disappointment. They were wilted and there wasn’t really anything to walk through, despite this being advertised as part of what you’re paying admission for. For families with older children, I really don’t understand charging full admission from age 5. There was very little that appealed to our older child, and I certainly wouldn’t pay the full entry price for a child over five based on what was available during our visit. Unfortunately, the staff we encountered didn’t seem particularly interested in addressing concerns either. The Slip & Slide looks like easily the best part, that’s the only thing I would consider paying for. Even then, there are other Slip & Slide attractions in the surrounding area that are cheaper, bigger and include additional activities within the price. I appreciate that outdoor attractions can be affected by weather and conditions, but when families are paying a substantial amount for a day out, the facilities and attractions need to justify that cost. Sadly, based on our experience today, this simply didn’t. I wouldn’t recommend paying for general admission, particularly if your children are over five.

  We had a really lovely family day out at the Cornish Maize Maze. We started by exploring the maze, which was great fun, followed by lunch in the café. The food was reasonably priced and there was a good choice for a family day out. We also enjoyed seeing the animals and picking our own sunflowers, which Noah really enjoyed. Of course, we had to share a waffle before heading home! There was plenty to keep us entertained and we thought it was really good value for money. We spotted the slip and slide while we were there, which Noah is already determined to try next time, so we will definitely be back.

  Paid for myself and son to go in, me as a spectator and son to go on the slip and slide. If your child is old enough, I wouldn't pay as a spectator if you're not going to take photos. You can seenthe back of the slide/stairs from the car park. I wasn't checked for my ticket which was odd so a waste of £5 for me. However... my son thoroughly enjoyed the slip and slide. The staff were engaging and attentive. Plenty of items to go down the slide on, and the water is powerful. Great music as well 😆😉 the food van situated in the slip and slide barn is on the pricey side but smelt lovely. Plenty of different wetsuit sizes available, and non slip socks available in basic sizes such as S M L XL for £1.50 - most people wore these although not essential. The walk from the bottom to the top again is on artificial grass but may have some nature stuff on it depending on weather. Website says to be there 30 mins before, but actually they dont give you a briefing till about 5/10 mins before your start time. Need to invest in lockers that refund your coin as items were left on benches and floor without supervision.

  I took my 3, 5, and 14 year old kids here and we had an amazing time. Whilst it was a bit expensive, the attraction is attached to a working farm (according to the website), and I was happy to pay as it is clearly helping to keep a farm in business. The play areas and animals were a hit with the little ones, and we all had a blast on the slipnslide, especially my teenager! The staff were really friendly and helpful and overall it was a brilliant day out. We'll be back in the future to give the maze a go!

  Me and my family had so much fun as we got there at 12 played around at the fun farm , feed the animals and did the maze ! - I was determined to Finnish it the final time the maze took me was 1hour and 50 minutes the maze was even traitors themed which was amazing for me and the family as we all love watching traitors - great bonding experience we also were lucky enough to come the day after a baby highland cow was born - it was so cute . A little more play in the fun farm and then we headed down to the UK's largest water slide at 4 o'clock it was so fast and so fun for all ages as we had ages 7-37 we all had an amazing time , the staff were also so welcoming and so nice towards us customers we even got to race other members of the public if wanted . This was a great way to fill a day of the summer holidays full of fun and lots of family time I highly recommend to come here as this is our third time coming ! Xx
