In all professions there are those who stand out because of what they intuit and understand - things that cannot be taught. Sarah Rose is one of those professionals. After our first session and with a better understanding of our dog’s signals and reactions to people other than family, we began changing how we interacted with him. Cooper has become less reactive and calmer.
Additional sessions with Sarah are even more successful as we are building on good behaviour, Cooper’s and ours.

We went to Sarah for some help with our 5 year old boy who on walks would run around like a lunatic and just do his own thing. We did some 1:1s and within two sessions he was recalling and waiting like a pro thanks to her clear instruction and guidance.
She then suggested puppy classes which we took him to for 6 weeks and whilst he clearly wasn’t a puppy like the rest she took the time to adapt things slightly for him, whilst bringing along the actual puppies leaps and bounds.
Would highly recommend Sarah if you’re looking for a personable, caring and knowledgeable dog trainer.
Contacted Sarah to get some help with our working cocker spaniel.. He was born in Covid with 2 years of no people/dog interaction and was allowed to run wild in fields…. Struggled massively with recall, obedience and ability to calm down when out on a walk… wanted general help with these areas and cannot recommend Sarah enough. Alfie recalls now instantly with the whistle, can sit and be patient (ish) when out on a walk and is learning to interact with other dogs and humans without such high anxiety… I never thought I would be able to get Alfie to recall and stuck to the guidance and worked hard with the advice.. and it has totally paid off… can’t wait for agility classes

As a previously inexperienced dog owner I look back on videos I took of my dog as a puppy and it terrifies me both how little I knew and how unprepared I was.
Sarah-Rose doesn't just love dogs to her core she truly understands them and they respond to her like a true dog-whisperer!
Will readily admit that early in training I was sceptical that we'd ever get close to what she said a happy dog and proper relationship looked like. The reality was that everything and anything was possible, it just took consistency and trust. Trust in her guidance and trust that we could and would get the results if we committed to them.
Which we did and have. No, it wasn't easy but there wasn't a single thing we were supported with that she was wrong about. Any issues were firmly mine, never the training nor that of my incredible dog.
If Sarah-Rose's help doesn't work for you then I suggest you firmly look closer to home for the reasons. Your dog deserves what she offers and not any excuses that make you feel better. Harsh? Yes. True? Most definitely.
I 'got' a dog. Sarah 'gave' me the best of all best friends and he'll always be the best gift I ever had. Every day he walks right by my side, he trusts me and I know him - his wants, his needs, everything. Our bond and relationship is incredible, it wasn't instant or automatically a given but the time, effort, guidance means it is all the more rewarding and absolutely unbreakable.
I tell everyone I have a 'Sarah-Rose' dog and that makes him so special and I know I'm right. I know because his love for her is evident and I trust my dog - they always know! 🥰
