Wonderful opticians. By sheer luck I came upon this opticians after developing Meobodian Gland Disorder after a cataract operation. The surgeon who had done the op privately was not much help at all so I was very relieved to find that Marcus Slater specialises in treating this disorder. My eyes are now much better and for the time being I don't need the more advanced light treatment he offers. The Duchy hospital and the NHS clinic at Treliske seem to be more or less totally ignorant of any knowledge of this advance never mind offering it. I also got my new glasses here and Ceasha has been an absolute star throughout..I had a change of frames and type of lenses throughout all of this and was very grateful for her patience and help. This is a fantastic opticians and I will never go anywhere else. They also have a parking space outside the shop and lovely premises. Yea 5 stars on every front

Undoubtedly the best optician I have used. The staff I have come into contact with are always knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. They have a great range of frames too and are very helpful with the process of choosing a new frame…show a real interest in your decision-making without being at all pushy.

Reynolds&Slater are the best optician I have ever come across. Great service! Extremely friendly and professional staff. They helped to choose glasses with ease, explained everything to the smallest detail and made a good discount. I recommend with all my heart!👓🔥

Since this original review I have been back for full eye tests and imaging. The service, environment and overall experience was brilliant. Sophie was fantastic doing the eye examination. Her knowledge and expertise is so reassuring. I needed some glasses and Caesha was just brilliant. I was committed to getting some eco friendly glasses and the ones I ended up purchasing were brought up by Caesha from the Penzance store the week later as she had listened to me and what i wanted. I am thrilled with the overall experience. The shop is lovely and it has parking and a loo which was really convenient. (Original review) I broke my Maui Jim Sunglasses and needed a lens replacement. Thrilled to discover this could be done in Falmouth or in Penzance. The replacement was done really promptly and am thrilled with the result. It's great to support a local business in Cornwall who are absolutely brilliant at what they do. A quality service with the friendliest and approachable staff make these guys my go to for all my future optician/optometry needs. 100% recommended. They are also brilliant with children and have some great children's sunglasses too.
