- HBHarry BurrowsMay 15, 20261.0This shop is a total scam. Every person in the store including managers, has a completed different understanding of policy/rules. I'll repeatedly get refused service for no reason, especially around their buying policy, which is heavily skewed; they don't buy items, even good ones that they don't want. They only want stuff they can easily sell. Also, colleagues will test, approve and then sell THEIR OWN STUFF. So the items you're getting are often dodgy also. I've been to other stores. This is not how CEX is supposed to operate. The number of times I've had to go all the way to Carlisle for simple stuff because Workington won't help is ridiculous.
