  Took my PS5 Pro here to sell today, perfect condition around 9 months old original box etc. They said they wouldn't buy it because it 'smelled of cigarette smoke'. Absolute madness, what are they expecting, they will buy it for like £400 and put £300 on top to sell, and they want it smelling like it's just come out of the factory? Shouldn't they be expected to give it a quick clean themselves to justify the £300+ profit they will make? Anyway, took it to cash converters, they didn't mention any smell of smoke, tested it, and paid me £500, a bit more than the max £470 that CEX would pay. So don't waste your time with CEX, jobsworths expecting brand new items to pay you second hand prices to then sell them again at brand new prices. Go to Cash Converters, much fairer.

  Cex went in as the phone i bought online hadn't been wiped completely so we couldn't access it. It took over a week to be delivered and then I had to visit the store to order a new one and return the other phone. Staff and polite and helpful however the service is very slow and they offered no reimbursement for their error.

  Went in on Saturday to get an iPhone 14 for our son the guy who served us was fantastic, he put lots of phones on charge for us to check them and explained everything to me, I can’t thank you enough my son was so pleased. It’s dog friendly too even our little dog was spoiled with treats. I am a very happy customer 🙂

  Took Dad to buy a camera at the Halifax store, the lady serving us was helpful and showed us features of the camera he liked, thank you for a great service.
