Dave, who told us he usually worked in Chester Tesco, was on hand to help us. He was unbelievably thorough and patient in trying to analyse the problem, and spent over an hour working on my phone. In the end having tested the SIM card and all other aspects of the service and the phone, he reluctantly acknowledged that the problem was on the phone itself. At my request, he then showed me which phones were on offer and were a good deal so that I could choose a new one. He was superb!

The assistant was argumentative and clearly pushing particular phone brands and specific tariffs instead of listening to what I wanted or needed. I was told I couldn’t upgrade due to my contract, which turned out to be completely false. I upgraded myself online, fee-free, within minutes. Either the staff member was poorly informed or deliberately misleading, which is unacceptable.
