I attended this school for several months. While the instructor is knowledgeable, the class format involved long periods of explanation with minimal time for drilling or repetition and without a stated syllabus. In two-hour sessions, practical training time was often very limited, which made it difficult to develop or retain techniques. This may suit students who prefer theory-heavy classes, but it was not effective for me as someone seeking consistent, hands-on skill development.

I started Wing Tjun about two months not knowing much about it but I am really enjoying the classes as it is very varied which keep it interesting and I am motivated to learn more about it. You don't have to be ' fit ' to do it and I can already see the benefits of exercise, self defence, confidence and self care ! It's also a massive benefit to have a good teacher.. Ian's aspiration to teach and encourage others shows in his style of teaching and what he has himself learnt over the years.
