  We recently asked Paul to carry out a damp and timber survey on our home, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. The report he provided was incredibly thorough, clear and detailed, and he took the time to talk everything through with us so we fully understood the findings and the repairs needed. His explanations were straightforward, honest and reassuring, as well as realistic which gave us real confidence in how to move forward.   I can’t recommend Paul highly enough – he is the man. I would 100% recommend Paul to anyone wishing to undertake an assessment of damp in their home. I sought a surveyor to establish why my parent’s home was affected with Mold and damaged plaster. I found Paul to be highly organised and efficient. In returning my calls, responding to my contacts and providing information over the phone. He came across very knowledgeable and reliable. Paul attended my parents’ home to carry out his survey. He was very warm, gentle and kind. Very sensitive to my parents’ concerns and questions. In no time Paul had produced and sent to me a very timely and thorough report. It detailed the issues and likely problems causing the damp in the property. The report also laid out a sequence of measures that could be undertaken to remedy the problem and prevent further deterioration. This report was exactly what I needed. Laid out in very clear and useful way. Paul was extremely generous with his time afterwards and continued to field some additional questions I had over the telephone.

  Paul's expertise is solid gold. He advised us on damp issues in our 1870s property. He explained in detail the issues and importantly *why*/the root causes of each issue, so you really understand what is happening. He then gave us a menu of recommendations, ranging from the belt and whistles (higher cost) approach to more budget-friendly options. He is generous with his time, says it how it is, doesn't try to sell you any other services, and even drew us a floor plan of recommended works so that we could share it easily with a contractor of our choosing. 10/10, thank you Paul.

  Paul performed a thorough survey of our house to diagnose a number of damp problems. Paul is very knowledgable, he talked me through each of the problem areas, giving recommendations for next steps. He taught me a lot about my house at the same time - many thanks!
