  First of all I just say AJ was an excellent teacher. My basic knowledge of what I had to learn was made very easy by his attention to detail and paper instructions were a great boost to my knowledge. I will however say it seems he is very busy and I sometimes felt I was bothering him in reminding him I wanted to book another lesson. Asides this the lessons were very good and his knowledge of the areas was fantastic. On the other hand I feel I must say my opinion of him as a great teacher has taken a slight turn. I feel a good teacher cares about his students but AJ seems to care more about money than his students... I took my test early and he was happy to attend with his car , he did however fail to tell me before hand the cost of his time was considerably more. I had the money I usually have to give him for his time and when I handed it his way he seemed to abruptly ask.. ‘is that all, that’s not a lot’. He then told me it was £90 instead of £60. Seems this surprise made me realise he was not the right teacher for me and I took the help of family to get me through my test within a few weeks after this. The last time I saw him I had just failed my driving test and he hasn’t even checked in to see how I’m getting on and if I wanted another lesson. I feel this says a lot about his care for his students , he is business minded but as I have said before... he is a good teacher but not one I feel is doing it for anything but to be paid.
