This was my first experience with MPB and I must say it was a good one. How refreshing to deal with people who are strait to the point, professional and friendly with a good sense of humour. Also extreamly knowledgeable re my vehicle. A welcome change from the dealerships I have been involved with in the past. Cheers guys I'll be back.

Booked in for service and explained I can drop at 9:15 but would need back for 4pm.
No problem I was told.
Dropped the car off.
15:30 no communication so rang to make sure it would be ready for 4pm as agreed.
Was told it would be ready at the end of the day at 5pm. No apology that it was going to be longer just will be ready when it’s ready it’s a big service. I then explain 4:30 is the very latest as I have to collect my children and get told that’s fine will make sure it’s done.
Get there at 16:20 spoke to a guy at service desk where he told me the car was on a road test and then would be valeted but if I didn’t want a valet as I needed the car back the tha was fine. The car was parked up outside being valeted so wasn’t on a road rest but ok.
Get asked to take a seat which I did for the next 25 minutes so now 16:45. During my wait not 1 person spoke or even acknowledged me 3 people in the reception working but a simple bit bit of conversation helps. Then I hear my car start up. Great! It’s ready then I hear someone revving it excessively a few times and a scream of excitement. For context it’s an SVR so it does sound nice but I don’t expect my car to be treated that way. A lad comes in a brings my key to the service desk. Another 10 minutes pass and I get. “Ready when you are pal”
Are you joking I’ve been ready since 16:20.
I questioned about my car being revved and I was told it was to test the spark plugs as one of the leads was loose on the road test so had to rev it to check. What a load of rubbish! They must think that I’m an idiot. I just want my car back so get some paper work passed to me no explanation and a card machine put next to me. No apology again of being delayed. Now I’ve had to arrange for someone to try collect my kids as I’m late.
Then to top it off as I leave get told that’s a nice car you have. I apologise for what I said but my response was a shame the service here is shocking

And a lack of respect for customers cars.
I would rather pay more and go to the dealer which I will be next time as the customer service and way you get treated isn’t good.
Not a cheap service at over a thousand pound and not even an apology.
Amateurs
I’m in my mid 80’s and have used many companies to repair and service my cars. MPB 4x4 stand out as the very best for friendliness, efficiency and cost. My only regret is that I did not discover them 50 years ago it would have saved me a lot of stress and money. I would strongly recommend them.

Excellent service, recovered car, diagnosed it & carried out all repairs. Not the cheapest but certainly the best. Also used them for my F Type Jag & again , excellent. Will be using them again & saying goodbye to the main dealers from now on 👍🏼
