  Phenomenal training environment & coaching team. I'm a black belt/gym owner and I do a 3 hour round trip to train at ALBA every opportunity I get, its never wasted! If you're in the area, get involved. If you're not, make the trip!

  I was hoping to give a possible review. However when I came to A L B A I was given misinformation. I was told we get a 4 week trial the lady helped me on the phone and showed me the box to sign which I did and then she told me to pay £4 something not sure what it was for she did not show me any terms and conditions about a 60 day thing I genuinely thought it was for a 4 week trial like I was told not signing up for a membership. My one child did not join in and my other child was not keen at all. I’ve had no help for the members of staff other than being told I have to pay for 2 months. If I knew about the 60 day thing after my trial lesson I wouldn’t have agreed as my children don’t want to take part so I have to pay for my children not wanting to take part. I don't think this is fair what so ever.

  I cannot speak highly enough of the coaches at Alba jiu jitsu. Prior to my 4 year old son starting at Alba he hadn’t had much contact with males for the previous two years and wouldn’t even make eye contact with a man. This pretty much instantly changed since starting at Alba. I have never seen adults interact with children so well, they see and understand the children in such an effortless manner, I honestly think the education system could have a lot to learn from the coaches at Alba. Each and every one of the coaches has such a wonderful nature with the children. We honestly hope to be life long members.

  I have been incredibly impressed with Alba Jiu Jitsu. The coaches are friendly and welcoming. Sessions have been engaging and fun and my boys have been looking forward to attending every week.

  We couldn’t be happier with our experience at ALBA Jiu Jitsu. Our son George is only 4 years old, and from the very beginning the coaches made him feel welcome, confident, and excited to learn. What stands out most is how patient, encouraging, and genuinely caring everyone is with the children. George has grown so much in confidence, discipline, listening, and social skills since joining, and he looks forward to every class with a huge smile on his face. The environment is positive, supportive, and family-orientated, which makes such a difference for young children starting something new. It’s amazing to see how the coaches balance fun with structure while teaching important values like respect and perseverance. As parents, there’s nothing better than seeing your child happy, included, and developing both physically and emotionally. We’re truly grateful to be part of the ALBA family and would highly recommend it to any parent considering this for their child. 5 stars all the way! ★★★★★
