  Me and my partners favourite place, the sushi is always delicious and fresh. The service is unmatched. So for anyone struggling to choose a place to eat I would 1000% recommend this place, simply divine.

  Wandered in here after a long drive and were starving. The service here is exceptional, so friendly and welcoming. We ordered takeaway so we could go back to our hotel and relax. We did not wait longer than 15 minutes for a significant amount of food. The owner (I assume) brought over iced water for us to have while we waited, as well as a complimentary sushi plate which was a lovely surprise. We brought a drink to have while we waited. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food we got was incredible, fresh, and full of flavour. We got a Bento box and some sushi rolls and edamame. We were given a miso soup to enjoy as well. Everything was delicious and lots of soy/wasabi/ginger included which we appreciate. Plenty of vego options on the menu too. Go and support this excellent restaurant, they are lovely people and delicious food. Great value for money as well!

  Exceptional quality sushi and sashimi that’s absolutely worth the price. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, making it a pleasure to dine here. The restaurant is tucked away on a hidden street, but it’s definitely worth seeking out.

  My first visit to Hoshiya and it was fantastic. The sashimi was top quality — beautifully cut, fresh, and clearly the work of someone who really knows their craft. You could tell how much care goes into every plate. A real gem of a spot, and it shows in every detail. Highly recommend to anyone looking for excellent sushi and sashimi.

  I was really impressed with Hoshiya. The sashimi was incredibly fresh and was the best I've had in the West Midlands. The staff were professional, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The quality of the food was excellent, and considering the portion sizes and freshness, it was great value for money. Definitely a restaurant I'll be recommending and visiting again.
