- CDCiara DohertyJul 17, 20261.0Do not take out broadband with this company. I took out broadband from a friend recommending saying the internet was good and how it was great taking the box home and plugging it in and not having to have engineers to fit the broadband. The first month the internet was fine but then got really bad (of course after the 30 day cooling period) long story short. I Phoned up and the advisor said I had to pay the leaving fee off £180. I told him I have had bad internet for a few months and the internet has been really bad. He did speed tests which came up really bad and then agreed it was bad and said he would take the cancellation fee off. He then got me in contact with a team who cancelled everything for me and explained how I can send the box back and said I would get a QR code to my email address for me to post the box back but if it is returned and there is water damage or broke there is more fees. How am I meant to know what happens the box once it leaves with the delivery team? Why can’t I leave this broadband box in with the three team which I also visited and they told me to speak to customer service online. Why is this? Why have customer service advisors in store if they can’t help? Now nearly a week later and 3 phone calls of yes I will send you the QR code to return your broadband box and still I have no email to return the broadband box. I think they are holding this off so that after 30 days of no return of the broadband box I will be charged and also my credit score will be affected. If this is the case I will seek legal advice.
