  AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, this company are a nightmare to deal with and the customer service is shoddy. Spent over £2500 on fireplace and a fire. First fireplace chipped and tried to say as not reported within 72 hours tough, even though only installed day before, eventually replace chipped part and then it was a different shade so had to replace whole fireplace ! The warning signs were there, demanded full payment before delivery and even though recommended fitter try and claim it as a separate transaction so that they can push anything that goes wrong when fitting onto him. Even now after third installation the fire is NOT CENTRAL in the fireplace ! Just given up now and accepted, can't handle contacting them yet again and being made to feel that I am too fussy. Sure there are other fireplace firms that offer better customer service !!

  Replying to Debbies review, as a fitting company who contracts gas safe engineers what your being told by Barton supplies is correct. We can't and won't install a gas fire from one property to another. We are how ever happy to install a new gas fire for yourself avalibility is good and distance isn't a problem.

  Had glass and door seals replaced Frindly and very polite people. Good workmanship.. alwayss going to be barton stoves. Recommend
