  Bought a product from this branch and got it delivered (because I'm lazy, lesson learned). Device arrived broken and inoperable. I took it into the shop for Warranty inspection and was told by a younger staff member that it was broken and was offered a refund there and then. Older guy, who I'm assuming was a manager took over to state that it was indeed broken but that they wouldn't have sent it out in that state, implying I broke it telepathically before it even ended up in my hands.... No refund or replacement, essentially stating it had broke its warranty before coming to my possession... I am now hundreds out of pocket as their digital customer service team based in God knows where sided with the shop... DO NOT BUY ANY DEVICE OUT OF HERE UNLESS YOU CAN VISIBLY SEE IT IS WORKING... Edit: In response to the poor attempt at damage control, please be aware that the customer service team will ignore any complaints against them. I have already contacted the customer service support team, and got absolutely no response other than the exact same copy paste you have sent me. "we do not buy items in damaged condition, let alone sell them". Well you did. How hard is it to send an acknowledgement of your faults and an attempt to resolve them? In regards to looking into the staff that served me, I don't regularly ask people their names at the checkouts. Given you attitudes towards damage Control elsewhere, I doubt it would have been looked into in the first place.... Absolutely shocking.

  Typical service from CeX, utter rubbish. Don't expect a nice smell in this store, and don't expect a smile either, except one of condescending pity, masking glee that they're about to rob you for what you're selling. That and snark. Expect plenty of sarcasm. That's my last visit to this dump.
