Last Sunday, I brought my phone in for an iPhone Battery service a little bit after noon. When I got there, the lady working at GeekSquad said the guy that can fix it doesn’t work on Sundays or Mondays. If that’s the case, why allow me to schedule it for Sunday in the first place? Nonetheless, I ended up rescheduling it to Friday at 12:40.
I get there on Friday a few minutes after 12:30 PM. I walked over to GeekSquad and the lady asks what I need help with, I tell her I’m here for an iPhone battery service. She tells me to take a seat, which I do, as she’s busy helping another customer. 50 minutes later, it’s 1:20 PM and my patience has completely ran short. Not to mention, she’s STILL helping the same customer. I get up to leave and she approaches, I tell her I’m just gonna take my phone directly to Apple. She said she felt bad, which wasn’t enough for me. I was already heated, so I said “don’t worry about it”, and started walking out. As I’m walking out, another worker approaches and asked if I got helped, I responded no and kept it pushing.
These guys are severely understaffed. My problem isn’t just with the staffing, it’s with the customer service. Where’s the apology for the wait? Where’s the apology for wasting my time, as if I don’t have things in my own schedule to do? Why did she not say anything to me after I sat down, except when I got up to leave? This was the sorriest customer service I’ve ever experienced in my 26 years of living. Put up a help wanted sign and offer better benefits, you need the assistance bad. I will NEVER come back to this Geek Squad, and I’m debating ever coming back to this Best Buy. This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth.

Don’t bother! After 30 minutes on hold, made an appt to come in. 1st available was three days, got there and the tech was so disorganized and clueless, she never actually got around to looking at my computer. She just said I need to buy a new one because it’s too old and they can transfer data for a fee. Yes, it’s a 7 year old Mac, but she didn’t even try to troubleshoot. I asked the cost of transferring data, and after waiting 10 minutes for her to find “the book”, gave up and went to the computer dept. prepared to buy a new one. The sales associate was about as helpful as a box of rocks! All around BIG WASTE OF TIME!!

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! They had my phone for over 18 days when it was only suppose to be 5! No one called or updates me! I showed up to the store to ask about and was told the phone was just delivered and LOST! I then come to pick it up after being called and still had to wait 1.5 hours! I ABSOLUTELY WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN

Had an imposter posing as Geek Squad hack my computer place an order for Amazon which I was able to cancel. When I go into Geek Squad they offer me a one year free membership and regards to this and then they don't want to honor it and want to charge me $179 as we use my computer for homeschooling purposes Geek Squad is a joke. They don't value their customer service like they did. Because of the first member coming in now my computer runs really slow and they've changed features on my computer without approval to where it makes it even harder so I don't think I'll be coming to you for my business anymore of technical support.
