Brought my rescue here for their free examination after adoption. I kind of feel like they aren’t as attentive with these, as they would be standard or “paying” visits and it felt a bit rushed although I was the only one there. I didn’t really get much education about caring for my pet and when I got home realized there was more I should have asked about such as seasonal shedding and anal gland expressing.
Everyone I spoke to on the phone was excellent. However, I was told over the phone that a fecal exam was covered in the $250 covered treatments, but once I got there the tech said it wasn’t and the $250 was only if my pet had a medical issue or if something came back wrong with the fecal. This was a huge let down and didn’t make sense since I would have been able to get her to the shelter vet if she had an issue within that early of me adopting her. I also wouldn’t have been carrying poop with me if I knew ahead of time it wouldn’t be tested. I didn’t really get the best attitude from the vet tech, or whoever does the initial intake, but the actual vet Dr. Chappell was nice.
I asked if I would receive updated medical records from them showing she had been examined, and she told me no because they didn’t “do anything”.
Not sure if I felt the most welcome here, but the Dr seemed to love his job and that is great.

Awful staff, the doctor didn't even bother to call me with the blood work results. This was the first time and last time I would take my cats here. If you love your pets, don't go to this hospital.

I had the best exam for my newly adopted dog with Dr. Brian Chappell today, literally the most compassionate and kind vet, so thorough and he had read her long shelter medical history and examined her with such attention and was so good with her that she gave him kisses! He is very informed and I would consider making this my regular vet for my other dogs after this experience! Also, the front desk woman was so nice and it was a quick and efficient visit.

From the front desk to Anna and Dr. Collins, we’ve had the best experience. Everyone is so friendly and caring. We recently adopted three kittens, and it feels wonderful to be heard and supported with our concerns for our babies. We feel so lucky to have found such great vets so close to us.
