  I ordered an external hard drive on a Thursday evening for pick up on Friday. Normally, if it’s not in stock, they cancel and notify you. I would’ve then ordered for delivery instead. They didn’t do that. They claim they are having it transferred from another store and it’s been like that, in pending limbo, for 8 days now. They won’t switch the order to delivery, even though it was listed as an option. Now, the price has gone up 24%. I’m pretty sure that is why they are doing this. There is a shortage and they are wanting more money for them.

  Worst experience! Liars!!! They run random promotions, and we ended up buying $4,000 worth of electronics. The salesperson encouraged us to open a new store credit card, promising we’d receive 20% back in rewards. It honestly sounded too good to be true, so I confirmed it with him again and he reassured us it was correct. He said they were running an in-house promotion from December/January through February 2. For the record, we made our purchase on January 13. It’s now March 3, and we still haven’t received the 20% rewards so please be careful. What’s frustrating is that customer service initially acknowledged the promotion and told us to confirm it with the store. Now the store isn’t honoring the offer they used to convince us to buy. When we went back to ask about it, even the manager seemed unaware and insisted it was only 10%, not 20%. We’re not making this up this was promised by their own staff. It’s disappointing to experience something like this from a brand like Best Buy. Buyers, please be aware.

  Came to buy a camera, talked to a Best Buy employee told him I needed assistance. He said he will call a camera expert to help me out. Waited for about 20 minutes and no one ever came. Store was not busy either…

  I was at the Mall of GA location in Buford earlier.. It was half hr before closing and we asked for help in the mobile section. I knew what I wanted and needed a new phone and was ready to spend $1600 on the one I wanted. After waiting for someone to come twice... The person at the front door told me no one probably showed up because it was so close to closing time. I went home and ordered my phone directly from Samsung. Luckily I had an old phone until I get my new phone. I am truly upset that a ten minute purchase transaction that could have saved me a headache and made best buy look like heroes instead made me realize why I only go there as a last resort. I really hope they change their attitudes.

  I’ve always tried to buy all of our appliances and small electronics and computers from Best Buy but this may change. Our 11 year old Samsung refrigerator went out around Christmas and we went shopping that day. The woman working in the appliance area was hard to find and when we did she only wanted to show us the Samsungs and LG’s which look nice but I was not buy one again. The design issues are not fixed that caused ours to break. As soon as I told her we did not want to look at either of these models she made a humf noise an walked away. So no help. Beginning of Jan2026 I ordered Apple ear buds from Best Buy. They usually ship items quickly and with easy tracking. Instead I kept getting an odd link to tracking and a secondary website. So they sent my order to an outside vendor. Which has a strict 15 day return policy on all items. It took 3 1/2 weeks to get the ear buds. I saw this with Sears. For them it signaled the end of their business.
